It is predicted that 30 billion, 50 billion, or even 70 billion Internet of Things (IoT) devices will be connected by 2020. Along with the devices and sensors connected to the internet are massive amounts of data. What will we do with this data? One way to make use of the data and obtain insights is through artificial intelligence (AI). Artificial intelligence has become a key factor in the success of IoT solutions.

This presentation examines why IoT and AI are a match made in the cloud. We will focus on the opportunities in IoT, and how AI can enhance devices and services to make the Internet of Things smarter. We will also walk through a demo of a smart home solution integrated with craft ai, an AI-as-service platform.
