The IoT has moved from an engineering experiment to an integral aspect of creating differentiated business value.  But since the last IoT Fuse, OST has seen a number of organizations take a cool idea or an inventive concept and have it die due to a lack of understanding about how to take the concept to market and how the company needs to be reoriented around the new service that IoT can provide.  In this session OST will present the learnings from the last year from industry research and our practice for how organizations need to evolve to wring the value out of IoT ideas.  This will include insights about how we create new business models from data services, as well as how we engineer the digital experience and product experience in unison.  This is hard stuff technically and organizationally but is necessary in order to move the project idea to a point of economic sustainability.  Or would you rather have your IoT idea become a DOA idea?
