Left his internal medicine practice 25 years ago to devote himself to exploring motion control technology in art and education. He started teaching DIY CNC and robotics in science centers over 15 years ago, and has permanently installed large-scale, robotic sculptures in museums across the globe. Recently, he Kickstarted “Sisyphus - the Kinetic Art Table” (October, 2016), a connected device that plays "tracks" (paths in sand) organized in playlists. It remains the most funded campaign in Kickstarter's “Art” category to date.
